Description
Architect: William Lee Stoddart

• The hotel was originally completed in 1886 with three stories with an additional two stories added to the top of the hotel in 1893. In 1922 an 8-floor addition was completed on the north side of the hotel.

• Having fallen into disrepair and mostly abandoned by the late 1970's, a fire began in the original 5-story section on January 2 1979 significantly damaging this portion with the tower portion sustaining smoke and water damage. The hotel was finally demolished in August 1980.
