Description
• Architect: Alfredo Navarro Branca

- Originally constructed as a primary school in 1914, but left partially unfinished. It was then renovated and expanded to house the state congress, but remained unfinished. Over the next few decades the building was slowly finished and then transfered to the University of Guadalajara, and was finally and fully opened in 1938.

- The building was renovated once more in 1994 to house the Museu de las Artset of the University of Guadalajara, and was designated a historic landmark by the university in 2013.
