Description
Architect: B. F. Stratton

- The building is around 50 feet wide at its widest point, and it's 40 feet tall and 40 feet in diamater hard water tank is capable of holding 200,000 gallons of water. Two smaller water tanks below the hard water tank held soft water.

- The tower contains a wooden, spiral staircase that winds upwards through the tower until it reaches a platform at 100 feet. From there, you must climb a series of ladders to reach the top floor of the tower.

- The tower was slated for demolition by the State of Michigan in 1974, but a local group called Committee to Save the Tower quickly formed, saving the tower.
