Description • The tower began construction in 2011. But it was discovered that a chemical coating used to prevent the growth of a toxic fungus was added improperly, so the opening was delayed.
• The tower opened on August 28, 2016, and it replaces a shorter tower that was built in 1983. The shorter tower will be demolished.
