Description • It originally opened as the Holiday Reno in 1956.
• The Holiday Reno closed in 1998, and then after 20 million dollar renovation that included a revamp and expansion of the tower, a larger casino, and a new entrance with a clock tower, reopened as the Siena Reno in 2001.
• After years of financial struggle, the Siena closed on November 10, 2010. It was then purchased by Grand Siena LLC, who gave the property a 5 million dollar makeover. The newly redone Siena opened on April 15, 2011.
