Description
Ivy Mike Shot Cab hosted the first hydrogen bomb of the world, which exploded on November 1st, 1952 with a yield of 10.4 Mtons and generated a crater with a diametre of 1900 metres and a depth of 50 metres.
Ivy Mike weighed 73.8 tons and used supercold liquid deuterium as energy source, making it impractical as weapon.
