Description • 12 pylons carrying two single-circuit 400 kV powerlines, which are situated in a distance of 100 metres, across Maracaibo Lake. All these towers are standing on caissons in Maracaibo Lake and form together with 3 smaller pylons the 9 kilometres long 400 kV overhead line crossing of Lake Maracaibo. The clearance below the line for vessels is 48 metres, the longest span is 1264 kilometres.
