Architect: Ellerbe Becket
Named after Vietnam veteran, and Congressional Medal of Honor winner Lawrence Joel in 1985.
The memorial park outside the coliseum was designed by New York artist James Ford.
A poem titled "The Fallen" is engraved on an interior wall in the lobby.
