The site originally housed the German Consulate complex, where historical buildings, including the villa of Li Yuanhong and Rong An, were demolished in the 1990s. Since the land acquisition process began in 2010, it has undergone three rounds of planning adjustments:
1: 2010-2015: Defined the main height of 488 meters and established the commercial landmark positioning
2: 2016-2020: Deepening the Subway Shuttle Scheme and Business Mix Proportions
3: From 2021 to present: Optimizing Development Timelines in Response to Macroeconomic Changes
As of May 2025, a temporary parking lot has been constructed within the project plot, but the land transfer procedure has not yet been implemented
