Description Well-known offshore lighthouse. The lighthouse Arngast serves the ship journey with his main and secondary fire for the control of Wilhelmshaven and for the orientation in Jade Bay. The tower visible from the Wilhelmshavener south seafront belongs certainly to the traditional and best known lighthouses of Germany. Since beginning of 2003 is put down of the LT Arngast on the list of the cultural monuments - historic architectural monuments-, because on account of the historical meaning a public interest exists in his preservation.
