Description
Remarkable telecommunication tower built of concrete also used for FM-/TV-broadcasting. Height of base: 577.2 metres above sea level.

Owner and operator: Deutsche Telekom AG.

The type tower (FMT 2/72) from ferro-concrete owns a company pulpit at 75-m height. Beside the directional radio and the mobile radio the location served as a basic net transmitter of Augsburg for the television programs ZDF (canal 23; 390 kW) and Bavarian television (canal 44; 430 kW). In addition, the VHF-radio program Germany radio culture on 100.0 MHz (15 kW) is sent from here. Till 1998 it was emitted on this frequency AFN Munich. The distant registration tower became on the 27th November, 2007 on DVB-T.
