- Total Length: 584 meters

- This prestressed concrete bridge carries Bundesautobahn 4 over part of the Weihe river valley.

- Work on the bridge originally began in 1938, but was stopped in 1940 because of World War II. Work was restarted on the bridge in 1992, after the reunification of East and West Germany. It was finally completed and opened to traffic in 1994.

- The old bridge columns were considered unfit and structurally unsound and demolished during the modern reconstruction of the bridge, though, two were kept as monuments.
