- Architect/Engineer: Charles F. Haglin

- Developer: Frank Peavey

- The elevator was the first circular concrete grain elevator in the United States, and perhaps the world when completed in 1900.

- The elevator was never actually used for commercial grain storage after the tests, ironically.
