Description
This bridge running between Tokushima and Hyogo prefectures connects Shikoku and Awaji Islands. It runs above the well known Naruto whirlpools, which are formed by the tide waters running through the narrow channel.
There is a pedestrian walkway and observation deck running below road level, which extends from the Naruto City side out to the halfway point of the bridge, which offers a good view of the whirlpools.
