Description
This tower goes back to Roman times. It's been used as a watchtower, prison, bell tower and telegraph office.
It was renovated and heightened 1818-1822, reaching 65 m.

It was undermined by nazis during World War 2 and collapsed in 1944.

A new tower was buit 1975-1976.
