The second phase of O'sea, called Beach, uses precast sandwich panels. Using pre-cast sandwich panels for almost the entire façade meant thinking differently about the details and joints. This was a serious challenge and made the preparation phase more intensive and time-consuming. Both the concept and the sandwich panels had to be fully thought through before production began. Unlike traditional construction, there is no margin for error, as there are no subsequent corrections.
