2017-2019, McKibbon Hospitality (developer) and Cleveland Construction (general contractor) renovated the former BB&T Building into a hotel and condominium tower called The Arras. The building got completely reclad in a Post Modern style, with a 128 room hotel on the lower floors, 2 restaurants, retail space, and 54 condominiums on the upper floors.
