Description Built in the 1920's, the tower is still functioning. Water from an artesian spring is pumped up to a 125,000 gallon holding tank.
The structure is divided into several levels. Atop the tower is a four foot observation platform.
In 2003 the city hired a clean-up crew to thoroughly clean the structure's interior.
In January 2005 the city held a lighting ceremony, celebrating the installation of exterior lighting.
