This would be one of the tallest buildings in downtown Jamaica upon completion. With 93-01 Sutphin Boulevard, a mini skyline may be in the works.

283-room hotel planned for Downtown Jamaica

Queens developer Pride Hospitality Group plans to build a 283-key hotel in Downtown Jamaica, its second hotel planned for the neighborhood.

The developer applied to build an 18-story, 110,000-square-foot hotel at 149-03 Archer Avenue, three blocks from a Long Island Rail Road station, according to records filed with the Department of Buildings Friday.

The company bought the site in March for $5.3 million, and last month filed plans for a 48-room hotel nearby on 95th Avenue.

This is complete. 148-18 Archer Ave alternative address and also marketing address (Fairfield Inn & Suites New York Queens/Jamaica).

Due to covid-19, this will open December 2020. Temporarily closed.
