Wroclaw, Poland, awesomely underrated

i went to Wroclaw for a couple of days in August. great underrated city that's been part of the Kingdom of Poland, Bohemia, Hungary, Austrian Empire, Prussia, Germany, communist Poland and now free Poland.

surprisingly, it's also home to Poland's tallest skyscraper.

Awesome city to see. On my German side, my great-grandfather was born in Wroclaw when it was called Breslau and part of Prussia. Thanks for showing off so much of the city!

It would be underrated if it was America, but it's in Europe and quite frankly, there are plenty of other cities that are far better and even smaller and more unknown without the communist block style housing.

Nice photos though.

Thanks for your pictures of Wroclaw.

I agree with you, Wroclaw is incomprehensibly underrated. I see its old city is similar to all centroeuropean cities. However, the modern city reminds me to the communist era, I must say like in other centroeuropean cities.

I like its buildings, churches and pedestrian streets.

Definitely, I see Wroclaw is worth to visit it, and I would like to have the chance.

Congrats and greetings from Madrid, Spain.

Looks awesome. How is Wroclaw pronounced?

Nice photos! My next place to visit in Poland. Do you have any close up photos of the skyscraper?

Great tour - a real treat - some interesting street art there - definitely not your generic stuff! Love the aerials of the commie blocks and the churches, too

Enjoying this look back, any chance that Łódź, NE, was on the agenda? I realize Kutno is a small town to the North compared to Łódź but some interest in It's progress/statr over the years...

i was in the area for work a few years ago; sadly not enough time to go to Łódź. looking at the map i think i may have had a meeting outside of Kutno. now i need to check my files. i had some photos of an old factory being dismantled/salvaged outside of a small city and the skyline.
