No I think they're the sane ones here and realize that it's ridiculous to not allow more development here. There's already lots of residential in the immediate area. They also realize that planes are way quieter now than 30 years ago, and could easily have a note when tenants sign that they are in an airport zone, and that won't change. This isn't complicated.
This could have tremendous benefit for the area and city, by filling in parking lots and looking at further transit improvements in St. James.
This is coming at a perfect time as CF and the City/Transit could work together to figure out how to make a major transit/RT station at Polo as part of the new TMP.
