Though it's a couple decades out of date, the pic below nicely shows how closely MDW's runway 4R lines up with the Sears Tower.

Thanks! It was a cool and relatively crisp day. The past few times I've tried taken pics from that vantage point it was a little too hazy, especially in the summer.

You can also make out the 400' 3 Lakeway Center tower in suburban Metairie, which is at the foot of the Lake Pontchartrain causeway (also visible to the right in this shot).

During my drive to Austin last week, I was coming in on the Manor Tollway from the east, and saw the skyline from a fairly high vantage point on the tollway. I was still probably 10-12 miles out from downtown. The skyline was massive. I can only imagine the view when the construction on Waterline moves further along.
