Most of the best shot's I've seen from that general angle were from drones which make public vs private views a bit murkier. That said, you can get glimpses from several places on Yonge even if you can't see the full width.
True about drones although I think the legalities on many drone shots are debatable like putting on a nice suit and someone holding the door to private office space open for you.
