Southfield

Southfield is a Detroit suburb that lies directly northwest and adjacent to the city of Detroit. It calls itself the "International City" and is famous for the Southfield Town Center, a skyscraper office park located in the south-central part of the city. It's also known for Northland Center, considered to be the oldest, suburban shopping mall in the United States. Southfield is also a major office center in Metropolitan Detroit with home to over 26 million square feet of office space, and because of its location is a local communications center for the metropolitan area.
