Description
• Architect: Edmund Wright

• The town halls tower is named "Albert Tower" after Princer Albert, the consort of Queen Victoria.

• In 1869, the Prince Alfred Hotel and the Queen's Chambers (19 Pirie Street) were completed, and later incorporated in the complex in the 1950's. The Eagle Chamber at King William and Pirie was also completed as a commercial office building and incorporated into the complex in the 1950's, as the Gladstone Chambers completed in 1880.
