• This is the tallest hotel in Europe and held the title of World's Tallest Hotel until 1976 when it was surpassed by Atlanta's Westin Peachtree Plaza Hotel.
• After a three year renovation the hotel Ukraine re-opened on April 28, 2010 as a Radisson with 505 guest rooms and 38 apartments.
