Burlington is an unincorporated community in northern Kentucky, and is the seat of Boone County. The population is around 17,000.
Burlington is one of two unincorporated county seats in Kentucky, with the other being Whitley City. Burlington has seen considerable suburban growth from the Northern Kentucky and Cincinnati, Ohio, metro area, in the past 20 years.
