Love the geography of Austin with the lakes, rivers and hills. It's really an outdoor lover's paradise.

I have found that Austin itself (Even if though it's not bad at all) is not extremely exciting. I have personally prefered San Antonio for some reasons.
But I must admit that the natural landscapes bordering Austin to the west are really nice and that's an asset that San Antonio doesn't have (But one could argue that hills are not far away from there too...)

Nice. Glad you came and enjoyed it. Most of the city doesn't look like that, and admittedly, after not venturing over to that part of town for a while and taking it for granted, it's always a unique reminder that part of the metro really does look like that.

Yeah very much so...and I would like to come back!
I agree with you, it is a nice surprise
Is this area ''closed'' to any Freeway extensions? I heard it's a sensible area for some reasons.
Also, I saw many Beggars just off Loop 360 along the many millionaire homes. Didn't expected that. In Canada, Beggars are mostly found in Downtown areas.

Lookin' good. I was wondering, is there a new tallest going up at the moment? It kinda looks like that tower is still unfinished.

Also I wonder how many buildings are taller than the Frost Bank. I thought by now it was several, but it looks like maybe its just two.. (?)

Thanks!

It looks unfinished from that vantage point but it was totally completed when I passed by on I-35.

Take a look at the SSP diagram for Austin. There are officialy 4 towers ahead of Frost bank tower.

The top of the Independent is almost universally hated in Austin because it makes the building look unfinished. But it is finished..
