Great London tour, Xander202! Thanks for all these beautiful shots.

Like the other last threads, this one is fantastic too. London is the metropolis of Europe.

I like those views of London´s skyline from that park, I don´t know its name. And people shots too.

Congrats and greetings from Madrid, Spain!

Damn, you've got a library of London shots. Were you around for the Olympics this summer? If so any shots from then? Great set.

Yes I was around for the Olympics, and I went to a few events. But it was quite a weird time in London in the sense that the West End and usual central areas were disconcertingly quiet as it seemed everyone spent all their time in Stratford, which is not somewhere I ever feel the need to go to. I think London felt the opposite of what people were predicting, quieter than usual. Also loads of Londoners left for the Olympics fearing overcrowding.

So in answer to your question, I was here, but no shots from it!

this is so bizarre - doughnut stall Camden market

my pic, this is the same bloke on his second day ever at work here, November 2011 - good looking guy fresh from Pakistan and one of the friendliest, funniest peeps I ever met. He kept burning the lot on his first day, Asian style. He was so bored he even got us behind the counter to show the mindnumbing art of making doughnuts all day long. I kinda jokey-asked him how he carved holes in them, and could we have the bits that popped out - but he let me have a go instead (trade secret - it's the thing with the plunger in the first pic). Its refreshing in the big city to suddenly find someone to have a lark with for 5 minutes, especially a complete stranger:

Im a bit unhappy he's still there as it was just meant to be a temporary job till he got something better.
