Bayers and Oxford Development Public Information Meeting – June 27
A meeting concerning a re-development proposal for the corner of Bayers and Oxford on the site of the former gas station (south-west corner) will take place on Wed June 27 at 7 pm at the Maritime Hall, Halifax Forum – entrance off Almon St (by Bingo Hall). The proposal is to develop a five-storey mixed-use building comprised of ground floor commercial uses, upper storey residential uses, and underground parking. The building will have 27 dwelling units and 29 parking spaces. The application by W.M. Fares Group is to amend the Halifax Peninsula Land Use By-law (LUB) to apply Schedule L and enter into a development agreement process to permit a five-storey building.
