Near Schilling Power Station, there is a decomissioned nuclear power plant.

of 3 units. Unit 1 with 150 MW generation capacity is shut-down, unit 2 with 300 MW generation capacity is
backup power station and Unit 3 with 415 MW is operational.

On December 31st, 1987 a turbine broke at start of power station and a blade with a weight of 1300 kilogram weight
crashed through the roof of the power station and flew 1300 kilometres wide where it landed on a field. No person was hurt.
