Awesome tour. Some great looking narrow streets there. Almost looks like Europe meets the Midwest.

Awesome, reminds of some of Philly and various mid-size Pennsylvania towns.

Love all of those Mansard roofs and, yes, some of the houses definitely give me a Philly/Delaware River Valley vibe.

Great pictures! It's nice to see some of the "other" Quebec City, which isn't in as many threads as Vieux Quebec. These neighborhoods have some distinct architectur that looks like much of Quebec, but also looks different from anything else. It's interesting to see blue-collar building with mansard roofs and other fancy things on top.

On another note, although I wish that you still lived in Hamilton so that you could cover southern Ontario (you didn't cover the Niagara Region as much as I wish you had), it's nice that you moved to another place so that we get to see your take on other places in Canada.

You really are the master of urban neighbourhood phototours. Great photos...you do a great job with your angles and framing. Quebec City looks like such a interesting small city with it's narrow streets and grand history. I'd love for you to do a Oliver/Downtown/Quarters/Glenora/Garneau/Strathcona (Whyte Ave) tour in Edmonton some day. Or even Calgary or Vancouver. I think Winnipeg would be more your style, though.

Great stuff flar. Still my biggest regret the last time I came out east is that we drove right through QC but had no time to explore...sad.

Great set. St-Roch/Basse-ville is a totally cool neighborhood.

I think Trois-Rivieres is just begging to get Flar'd.

I had a great time exploring this neighbourhood, definitely one of the most interesting in Canada. Super urban and really solid. There are no gaps on these streets. Even beyond this one, Quebec City's neighbourhoods look very similar to Montreal's.

This part of Quebec City looks like St. Louis, Cincinnati, Pittsburgh, Philadelphia and Baltimore had a giant orgy in the city.
