PHOENIX | Your Way Around the Boycott

I know you've always wanted to visit Phoenix, especially in the summer. Well if this was your summer to visit, but you've decided to boycott the state of Arizona for political reasons, I've got a solution for you: you can live here vicariously through these photos!

These were taken in the time since my temporary relocation back to Phoenix (I’ll be back in Portland later this summer), with the exception of a few that I took on a brief family visit this past winter.

Some previous threads…
Portland (May 2010)_____________Portland (April 2010)___________Portland (March 2010)__________Portland (February 2010)

And the current thread...

Let the disparaging remarks begin…

Nice photos. For some reason I think "oven" and raw fear overcomes me when any picture isn't shady....

I really enjoyed the photos from all over the city. Phoenix is surely making good progress. I especially liked the protest pictures, hopefully it will send a message to Gov. Brewer and the AZ Legislature.

Outstanding. Greatest Phoenix tour ever. You really coaxed some character and texture out of the place.

well immigration aside, i could still take the bait and make a lot of disparaging remarks about the desert sprawl of phoenix and its downtown, but these photos are just way too awesome to do that!

I was waiting for you to do a Phoenix thread and you didn't disappoint. That was definitely the best Phoenix thread ever.

Phoenix definitely isn't a city I'd want to live in, but you could sell this easily to anyone to make them wanna hop down for a visit! Pure eyecandy.

You know, as being Phoenix's most famous street artist, you'd think El Mac would be have more than just a half dozen examples of his work around town.

BTW Sekkle, you ought to start a street art thread based on this sampling alone.

Very nice shots. Its too bad the protestors have to dip to moronic levels and compare their opponents to Klansmen and Nazi's, while I hate SB 1070, thats no way to make your point effectively, ah well.

Hard to explain, but you've really captured the essence of what it's like to roam around large portions of Phoenix. The only thing that's missing is a Circle K parking lot.

Exceptional photos.
