Spring in Boise is Like a Garden Bursting Into Life

This thread is the result of the fact that I often have my camera with me, while I am on my mountain bike or while I am in my car. Spring 2010 has been a cool, wild and wet and sometimes snowy season here in the Inland Northwest and has been a beautiful time to witness the greening of Boise.

Enjoy!

It must be cool having large hills and mountains and such literally at the doorstep of Downtown Boise. It kind of reminds me of the North Saskatchewan River Valley here, where minutes from Downtown you can feel right in a forest of nature, except that the River valley you go down to, and the mountains you go up to. Thanks for the shots, Boise has some gorgeous landscapes.

Great as always. Definitely some new views on this. Boise still has that small-time charm for its size.

Fantastic Photos.

If I had to raise a family in any one city, I would probably choose boise.

That was an unexpected snow storm for so late in May. Bogus Basin
Ski area, which is at the highest mountain above the valley, received a foot of snow.

Nice tour of Boise! The views from other areas of the city outside of downtown are interesting.

I miss Boise and these pictures make me miss it even more. The snow on the mountains is a beautiful contrast with the deep green of the trees and then there is the river, I could go on and on.

Thanks again everyone for the comments. I've been out of town for a while so I'm playing catch up.

Boise is an interesting little city to photograph, I always discover something new when I am out with my camera.

Great pics! Boise is a cool town and I hope it doesn't grow too fast and lose that small town feel.
