As of yesterday this is no longer an application on hold. Though there are still no renderings. Interesting spot for a 100'+ office tower.

Drove by there today and saw columns for the first floor sticking up, which weren't there about a month ago. Before that work looked like it had stopped for the better part of a year. I assumed it was stalled, but it doesn't look that way now, anyways.

That's because it's the same 3 guys building the whole thing who also worked on the new Hampton Inn and Courtyard by Marriott just down the parkway a bit. Same landowner too. At the rate it took to complete the hotels, this project is still years away from being completed.

I didn't think I had much of a library on this one but looking through this thread proves me wrong. It always seems to be just out of reach returning to Rockcliffe.

I drive near this building to and from work daily, and it is finally starting to take shape. Should be at height by early summer, though it all depends on how fast the one guy working on it moves! LOL

This thing looks MASSIVE heading south on the Vanier Pkwy near Montreal Road. It's almost topped out.

It also looks massive when you're coming over the Cummings Bridge.

Office space. 10 stories. Being built by the ever mysterious Bona Properties. (they don't talk to the media)

273,400 square feet, 3 levels of underground parking.

Was originally being built on "spec"(ulation) = no tenant at the start of construction.

Bona is believed to sorta self-finance construction (ie no loans) as they make money from other rents. There buildings generally take forever to build. Their last was the never ending hotel tower construction beside the Baseball stadium.
