CHICAGO | A new perspective - Views from the Trump
These pictures were taken about a year ago while the Trump was still being built. It was up to its 83rd floor I think when I went.
I also had the privelage to visit another tower just east of the Trump that was just about finished when I was there.
Here's the first tower I went to, taken from the Trump.
And now the views from that first tower.
And now onto the Trump
There's the "Willis Tower" in the back.
THe building I was in before this is in the top left corner of this pic
The top of the Wrigley Building
and the Tribune Building. It's amazing how much detail went into these buildings.

Beautiful! Yes, the detail on some of the iconic towers is amazing, especially because it's carried clear to the top where it would never be seen back in the era when those were built.

Not only is the detail that went into the Wrigley and Tribune amazing, but the fact that at the time they were built no one could have really seen that detail. That was detail and craftsmanship for their own sake. Beautiful, ornate structures built because they could be. Great stuff.
Awesome pictures. I'm glad you posted them, even though they are pretty old.
