City of Champions - Pittsburgh, PA

I was in downtown Pittsburgh today for the Penguins Stanley Cup Championship parade. It was a beautiful day for the parade so I decided to walk around town after it was all over. It's a Great Day for Hockey!

It's a hockey night in Pittsburgh!(Lange voice)

Beautiful photography. You were right by me in a couple of the first parade route photos.

Fantastic set, we get people, architecture, streetscapes plus more variation in here. Congrats, 2 titles in 1 sport season is a lot to show off.

Congrats on the win, guys. But 'City of Champions' is one of our slogans , .

As for Burgh, nice photos! You really have a beautiful dt down there! Seriously one of the most attractive downtowns in the states. Thanks for capturing it so beauti fully. You certainly show your town off good.

I also liked the random people shots, it's always interesting as some of them are goofy. Looks like a lot of point&shoots down at the parade, eh?

Looks like such a vibrant downtown,

What's that white dome, and that beautiful modern blue commercial tower (looks still u/c)?

Pittsburghs' downtown has got to be one of the most attractive ever. Just look at all those highrise layers, you capture it all too well.

Btw, do you know what will be built on the Mellon arenas' current site after it's demoed? That's a lot of land... oh and congrats, guys.

The dome, I think you are referring to the Mellon Arena, home of the Penguins for one more season before they move into the Consol Energy Center. The new tower u/c is Three PNC Plaza. It will be occupied by Reed Smith (law offices), PNC, Fairmont Hotel, condos, and ground level retail.

Downtown Pittsburgh always reminds me of a mini-Manhattan... absolutely love that place. Congrats on the championship!

From one Steel-towner to another, congrats and what a beautiful city Pittsburgh is. I'm glad the playoffs ended the way they did.
