This is part 2 of Julius Shulman's Franciscan Motel pictures. These photographs date from two years after the ones I posted yesterday. This one is
"Job 1085: Franciscan Motel (Los Angeles, Calif.),1951". Although the "F" on the chimney was visible in the earlier images, the sign along the front of the building appears to be new.
This pool shot is pretty similar to the one from 1949, although the trees seem to have grown nicely in two years.
The last image shows the steps to the pool and the "Franciscan Pool" lifebouys.

The motel was obviously newly built in 1949, as the 1948 aerial view shows a cleared lot. The completed motel can be seen in the 1952 image.
Historic Aerials
The buildings nearest the freeway were demolished sometime between 1972 and 1980. The ones at the back of the lot, however, survive today. They are now in what seems to be the north parking lot of the Ford Theatres.
