Louisville, KY - kentuckyFriedHomeInMyShoes [130 images]

Taken last week over a couple of days, using the wife's point-and-shoot, so apologies for the less than straight edges and lack of super-wide entertainment.

Mainly downtown with a bit of the Frankfurt and Bardstown areas thrown in and a trip out to Churchill Downs. No old Louisville, which is a nice area, but just cruised through in a cab the one day.

Louisville is the final, unexplored urban frontier in-a-weekend trip from St. Louis for me. Nice thread.

Good work! I love many of Louisville's unique bike rack designs (not sure if any of those are bike racks though). One of my favorite cities (I only lived three hours east in Ashland) for its urbanity, local flair and diverse streetscapes.

I love these pics! Shows the true soul of Louisville. Makes me want to create a new photo thread myself. The city is underrepresented, and I need to do something to help it! It's definitely one of the best-kept secrets on this forum.

Glad that this thread popped up. I really like Louisville. And yes, Louisville Sky, get out there and take some pictures for us. That would be great.

If St. Louis and Cincinnati had a baby, it would look like Louisville.
