Guangzhou: Tianhe District
After some time in Hong Kong, my business took me to Guangzhou for a couple of days. I took the train over, so the first few pictures aren’t Guangzhou at all, but along the way. Here’s the first set… Enjoy!

I was in Guangzhou on Thursday, but the weather was awful. Looks like you had more favourable conditions. Great tour.

I guess I got lucky... There was a chance of thunderstorms when I visited, but it never materialized.

It houses The Westin Guangzhou... I believe it's officially called 天誉花园三期 (Tianyu Garden Phase III).

Bravo! Damn! China's amazing lately! I love these pictures. They're not the best but they're pretty down-to-earth and show us some variety. Damn my middle-income family! I really want to travel around China for at least a whole year!

Amazing. I was there in 1985, it was a totally different place. Few cars, lots of bikes and development looked like it ended in 1949 (few newer buildings). Not the same place.
