Birmingham

a couple weeks ago i went back to visit Birmingham during my vacation. it was great to get back and see the city and hang out with Optimus Prime and his swank home. the weather wasn't very cooperative but i still had a great time. i probably won't have any photo threads up for a month or two because work is sending me to an undisclosed location in a deserty country

Nice pics. Was expecting the original Birmingham, though. Perhaps number 4 is somewhat reminiscent!

why would you expect to see the "original" Birmingham in the U.S.A. & Canada photos subforum? Or are you just trying to be cute

nice pics... I love the weather and the appalachian-ness of it all

Awesome pics, Steve! That first pano is sweet as well as the 2nd photo! Sorry you weren't able to stick around for the Birmingham forum meet.

I'm not sure if you read this in the Birmingham Development Thread, but the Florentine Building (below) is finally going to be renovated!!!

.

Love this shot of the steeple of Mountain Brook Baptist Church nestled in the rolling, wooded hills:

Great looking city! Downtown seems so classy. I really like it. The only problem is living in the same city as Optimus Sulley. I hate that guy. Perhpas I'll just pursue my life long dream of moving to Buffalo.
