A New York City thread like all you've ever seen!

I visited New York for the first time this month, and here are my pictures to show for it. I know, these pictures have been taken a million times, but I think there might be one or two worth seeing.

1. Sorry 'bout the finger.

2. Times Square is sexy.

3. The Chrysler Building and My Glove.

4. Long Way Down.

5. Bank of America is almost done!

6. Long Island off in the distance.

7. Empire State Building.

8. I think this is the best picture I took.

9. Cash Cab! They were filming the introduction for the new season.

10. Contours.

11. I wish I could have gotten a clearer shot of this...

Enjoy!

Love them. Thank you. And BTW, #6 is actually Jersey, not the Island.

Nice shots nschmoyer! Seeing NYC never gets old.

Dac150 is right, you're definitely looking across the west side of Manhattan and the Hudson River to New Jersey in #6.

I'm trying to figure out where you took shots 1 and 3 - 8. Looks like you are in the vicinity of 6th and 37th or so... is that a public observation deck? Or were you with friends that work in that building?

I liked #8 also, the lighting give the pic a nice effect. Thanks for the pics!

I was most interested in the perspective of the first few photos, were you on top of the Atlas. It a residential building on sixth avenue. By the way #3 is great, beautiful.

Yeah, I was on top of the Atlas. I have some friends that live there. 37th and 6th I believe.
