That was so good, I think now you should do a thread on Waterloo.

.... and don't forget both universities.

Quality photos there! I spent four days in Kitchener 5.5 years ago and had a good time there.

Nice pics man!
I have a bunch of photos too! Your's are good, but I have a bunch of pics ranging all around the downtown core, surrounding neighborhoods, Uptown Waterloo, and downtown Galt and Preston. I still need to cover Hespeler. I'm essentially creating a Waterloo Region thread. How do you post up pictures like that?
Nice work!

You mean the "Dolly Parton" building
Thats the real nickname of that building by the locals, because the domes look like her breasts.

Dolly must be laying on her back then - as in "islands in the stream".

I intend to. I would've done it at the same time as Kitchener but it was too bright and sunny that day.

The stepped building with the domes is striking when you first see it, but funny looking from some angles. The Kaufman Lofts are awesome

It looks very 'Great Lakes' like cities you'd find in Michigan or Ohio. Because of that, it looks very familiar, to me.

^ True, but what you didn't see were all the hideous concrete slabs in Kitchener...that sucks any Midwestern-ness right out of it.

I agree this is one of the better Kitchener tours I've seen too, very nice job!

Thanks for the tour of one of the lesser known cities in Canada.
