since i grew up in the 80s and 90s, i have become interested in the way cities looked during those decades.
What i like about skyline pictures from the 80s is that the cities like depict look so very familiar, but some things are a little bit off... like seeing toronto with the cn tower and first canadian place, but WITHOUT skydome.
(as opposed to pictures from the 20s or 30s in which most north american cities are almost unrecognizable from the modern day)
