soooooooo, we took it there, had a little forum meet, and now I'm back and I have 800 pics. Instead of posting them all like I probably would do, I'll narrow it down to key scenes and trim some fat. These are just a small bit of trash.
but sooner or later the full tour will be up on my website - just don't cross your fingers.......

.....Meanwhile, down the street from Hollywood, the party don't stop!
Wow that was fast, I didn't expect you or anyone else for that matter to have their photos up so soon. As for me I slept the entire day and into the late afternoon. After enduring our frigid cold weather (lol) the past few days I can barely talk and was almost too tired to go to work tonight. Anyway I do hope you guys had a good time, and hopefully the next time it wont be so cold. Also perhaps you can get a few more daytime pictures of some of the areas and streets you really wanted to capture. I do appologize for not getting you back to the Crenshaw District and making you guys walk the long trip over to Melrose. We probably could have still made it before the sun went down had I known it would have been better taking the bus on Hollywood Blvd to reach the street.
now that's what I'm talkin about. you guys really did the eastside and south LA justice. The energy in areas is so hard to capture on camera and these come the closest yet. And I love that shot of hollywood lights at dusk from a distance - so ominous. It capture's the eastside mood really well.

I honestly do not know how you do it. I do not even know if I could of captured so much of the unbeaten paths of LA if I had free time for an entire week without being stressed out afterwards. Great job.
Love that picture at the end, I've always wanted to visit LA

It was snowing in the foothill region north/northeast of Pasadena on Friday (Rancho Cucamonga and Fontana) and 34 at night in Pasadena.
Keep in mind, it rarely ever gets this cold in the Southland, though. Mid-40s aren't unusual at night this time of year, but with the dry air and the winds, it felt a lot worse.
Wow, you pretty much captured a big part of South, East and Central Los Angeles and some of Hollywood and Long Beach too. Just think there's still the majority of the West Side, Silverlake, Los Feliz and the San Fernando Valley not in there but that has to be one of the best threads ever. Great job and classic pictures. Thanks!
