Edmonton and Calgary had some doosies that were scrapped....both skylines would be significantly different if they had come to pass.

CtrlAltDel did a render of what Calgary's Skyline would have looked like if these were built. I'll try to find it.

Edit, here it is. The Bow is thrown in for reference.

FCC2 and Alberta Plaza would've been awesome to have in the skyline.

The Alberta Plaza is my favorite. I think you could still build it with few changes.

I love Alberta Plaza. It's a great design. I actually based some buildings on Sketch Up out of Alberta Plaza. What a loss.

a couple more of McIntyre Plaza. I think it was going to be built on the block between 6 and 7 Avenues, and 3 and 4 streets SW. I think it was to be 75 floors.

RobD has a bunch. There should also be a thread buried somewhere in the Alberta subforum.

That thread is where I got the first few, maybe when I have more time I'll sift through that thread and post more.

Fuck... I'm pissed off that the James Short School was torn down to build a piece of shit like that. Glad we eventually got TCPL instead though.
