ST LOUIS: a winter morning on the South Side

Happy Holidays, All! These pictures are from a couple days ago.

Dutchtown Craftsmans

In the Dutchtown neighborhood's business district

Two balconies in Dutchtown

Cherokee Antique Row

The beautiful Benton Park neighborhood

Illinois Street, just across from Benton Park (the park itself), a de facto private street

More Benton Park

The Tower Grove East neighborhood--another neighborhood named for a Victorian-era park

Bungalows in St. Louis's Southwest Garden neighborhood. The first three are pictures of "Hortus Court", a strange little development that a casual passer-by might easily overlook. The narrow, Dutch Colonial buildings in the court front a narrow sidewalk and extend back from Magnolia Street quite a bit. The second two pictures are homes in Gurney Court, a onetime private street.

Hope you enjoyed!
