NYC is on fire. So many new tall buildings and more to follow. I'd love to get a chance to go inside some of those Central Park tower condos.

^^ Kind of strange the base isn't one floor higher to match the neighboring vernacular... would have looked better.

Extra Info:

Quote:
Recent photographs show the sidewalk scaffolding on the main northern elevation still standing, and the ground floor appears to be nearly the same as it was when we last visited the site in late January. The building’s curtain wall is basically complete, and little to no work on the glass panels and railings on the upper setbacks is needed. A small section on the main northern elevation below the setbacks protrudes outward, the only deviation from the uniform surface. The blank western elevation faces a low-rise parking garage, while the southern side faces the inward part of the parcel. Two wooden water towers are placed side by side at the very top of 10 East 30th Street.

21-Story Office Tower Addition Planned for Eagle Electric Warehouse in LIC

Quote:
Developer Dynamic Star plans to secure a rezoning to build a new tower on Queens Plaza South in Long Island City, but unlike most of its peers, the company hopes to build offices, not apartments.

Brad Zackson, the firm’s development director, expects that the proposed 26-story commercial tower will enter the city’s public review process early next year. Dynamic Star wants to triple the 27,000-square-foot site’s allowed density in order to build a 400,000-square-foot, retail-and-office tower at 23-10 Queens Plaza South, between 23rd and 24th streets.
