Melbourne doesn't get nearly enough love for it's skyline, which is quite impressive.

Missed Opportunity for Observation Deck and Restaurant

Under the original proposal, the Australia 108 would have had residences, a hotel, and on the top floors, and on the topmost floors, an observation deck and restaurant. After the building was redesigned to comply with airspace regulations, the building became apartments only. The Eureka Tower nearby has an observation deck and restaurant on the top floors despite being purely residential otherwise, so an observation deck and restaurant on the top floors of Australia 108 at least should have been kept. This would have given the area two competing observation decks and restaurants and they would both have been profitable.

It is an impressive skyline. Looking like something out of 2070, holy shit.

Really? I have thought of Melbourne as being quite famous for it's skyline for a couple of decades now.
