Speaking of Starbucks, I noticed that their location on Kenmount Road, next to Menchies, is no longer listed on their store locator.

They’re doing some renovations while the road work is being done on that part of Kenmount

I guess with two Starbucks at the mall. One inside and a new one outside, there isn’t a need for one further up Kenmount Rd that’s still kinda close to the mall.

Not exactly the Avalon Mall, but any scoop on the location inside Chapters? Think that will reopen when the mask mandate is lifted?

So apparently Sapphora is closed temporarily for an indefinite time period due to water damage repairs at the mall. Must have been a serious problem.

Torrid the plus size clothing store is now opened next to Burgandy Shoes.

Sephora has been closed to in-store customers since Aug 21 when heavy water damage caused parts of the roof to collapse inside and outside the store. They were offering doorside pickup of online orders, but now are closed indefinitely while the ceiling is fixed.

Torrid opened very quietly, but business will ramp up this weekend for sure.

Also, a new construction wrap was added to the store-front next to the X-Store, which will soon be home to a FREAK LUNCHBOX 2nd location. 😁

Is there where lids is/was or on the other side?

The other side, where it was most recently a realtor, Christmas Ornament store, and Engraver.

Lids is still in the other side closest to the food court.

Starbucks will soon be closing their old location in the Avalon Mall. They used to be located on an exterior wall with pretty much it's own entrance, but because of the expansion, they are now at the end of a corridor to nowhere. The good news for Starbucks lovers is that they will be replacing this location with two new locations at the Avalon Mall. There will be one outside next to the new lights/entrance. That building will also contain a Burger King. They will be also opening a new in-mall location in the food court in the old Davana's location. Davana's merged with Bogart's earlier this year.

According to a post on the Avalon Mall Facebook page, the Starbucks in the mall will be staying. There will be two locations operating!

Saw this on Avalon Malls Twitter. New pizza restaurant opening in Avalon Mall. Not sure if it’s inside the mall or in one of the outside retail pads. Blaze Pizza which is a large chain throughout North America.

According to comments from Avalon Mall on it's Facebook post it will be located at one of the new pad sites near Kenmount/Polina intersection. So, that would be space next to CIBC.

LuluLemon is moving from their current location in Avalon Mall to a much larger location opposite Tommy Hilfiger in the new mall expansion area.

Apparently Pizza Delight is gonna be opening in the mall food court. This is in addition to Blaze Pizza that is due to open outside the mall next to CIBC.

Is there even any unused space in the food court left? If Pizza Delight is moving in and there's no vacancy that would imply that something is closing.

Just assumed it was going in that dead corner location in food court, the one that’s always changing every six months. Haven’t been in the mall in ages so don’t know what’s in the food court right now. I guess it could go in any vacant spot I suppose.
